SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE
INVITATION F OR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF VARIOUS SUPPLIERS FOR PROCUREMENT OF VARIOUS GOODS, WORKS AND SERVICES
This invitation for pre-qualification follows the General Procurement Notice for the above Goods. Works and services that appeared in the Daily Newspaper Issue No. 112,417 dated 28/6/2019 and PPRA website on 03/6/2019.
The University of Dodoma has set aside funds and intends to use part of the funds towards prequalifying various Suppliers and contractors for the year 2019/2020.
The objective of pre-qualification as stated in Section No. 52 of the Public Procurement Act No.7 of 201135 amended in 2016 is to identify competent firms/companies which will be invited from time to time to quote/tender for supply of ~ goods, works and provision of services during the financial year 2019/2020.
Pre-qualification is open to all bidders for activities specified in clause 5 below.
The University of Dodoma now invites suitably qualified and competent bidders to submit sealed prequalification bids as follows

Pre-qualification will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods. Works. Non-Consultancy Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 of 2013.
Interested applicants may obtain further information and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the University of Dodoma, Central Administration Block. Office No. 081 2nd Floor from 2.3“August 2019. Time 8.00hrs to 16.00hrs; Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Pre-qualification Documents in English may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 10below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings.100,000.00/= per tender through control number issued from University of Dodoma Accounts Section.
All applications in original, plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00hrs on Monday 02nd September, 2019. Applications will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of applicants or their representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the University of Dodoma, Central Administration Block. Senate Chamber, Ground Floor. The Outer envelope shall be clearly marked”Pre-qualification of Suppliers of Goods/Works / Provision of Services (please specify) for the Year 2019/2020 and “not to be opened before 08th September, 2019, 10:00am.

Late applications, portion of applications, electronic applications, and applications not received, applications not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
