1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal Issue no. ISSN: 1821 – 6021 dated 07/07/2020.2. The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government received/has applied for/intends to apply for a grant from the DONNER FUNDED towards the cost of Education Programme for Result (EP4R) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of Laboratory Equipment, Apparati and Reagents for 1258 Secondary Schools in Mainland Tanzania.
4. The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Suppliers for carrying out the Procurement of Laboratory Equipment, Apparati and Reagents for 1258 Secondary Schools in Mainland Tanzania as follows

5. Bidders are allowed to quote for one or more lots and award will be made on lot by lot basis.
6. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations – Government Notice No. 446of 2013 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
7. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Tanzania National e-procurement System(TANePS) OR at the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, President’s Office-Regional Administration and Local Government, P. O. Box 1923, CDA Avenue/CDA Road, Sokoine House, Wing A Second Floor Room No 133, Dodoma, Tanzania,[email protected] from 09:00-15:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on publicholidays.
8. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may bepurchased by interested Tenderers through the portal and upon payment of a non-refundable participation fee of 30000.00 TZS. Payment is performed through the dedicated payment gateway integrated in the TANePS.
9. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form in the amount of 106000000.00 TZS or freely convertible currencies.
10. All Tenders must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before03/11/2020, 14:00. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Tanzania National e-procurement System (TANePS) OR at the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, President’s Office-Regional Administration and Local Government, P. O.Box 1923, CDA Avenue/ CDA Road, Sokoine House, Wing A Second Floor Room No 133,Dodoma, Tanzania.
11. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, Tenders not submitted, not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
