HPON is currently looking for a suitable qualified Project Coordinator to work at one of its project based in Geita & Kagera regions

- Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Doctor of Medicine (MD).
- Previous knowledge or involvement in public health projects will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in project Management and Project coordinating
- Experience in conducting evaluation research (data collection and data analysis)
- At least 2 years working experience in related field
- Good understanding of epidemiological study designs including clinical trials
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practice principles (GCP)
- Familiarity with National, Regional and District level health systems in Tanzania.
- Fluent in Swahili & English
- Good reporting skills
- Roles and responsibilities
- Overall supervision of study activities in Kagera and Geita regions
- Ensure smooth running of project activities according to the protocol and SOPs
- Lead and supervise research assistant’s trainings
- Coordinate trainings with health workers
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, RMO, DACC and RHMT staff.
- Work in collaboration with other implementing partners.
- Follow up with HBC in locating LTF and eliminating undocumented transfers and deaths
- Lead and supervise qualitative & quantitative data collection and data storage
- Respond to any issues from the health facilities regarding the study
- Attend meetings with collaborating partners and regularly report study progress both within the local and International study team
- Participate in Research assistant recruitment
- Prepare project quarterly activity schedules to be sent to research coordinator
- Prepare quarterly reports and any other activity reports related to the project
- Perform other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
