REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE

PROVISION OF BARRED TEES – REF. 211123

‘Worley Europe Limited as EPCm Early Services Contractor for EACOP Project Invites experienced and reputable Contractors to express their Interest in providing Barred Tees for (installation to both Tanzania and Uganda) the East African Crude Oil Pipeline ‘EACOP) Project.

‘The Republic of Uganda, the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) the United Republic of Tanzania and or Tanzania Petroleum Development

Corporation (TPDC) as well 3s other International all companies partaking In the development of Exploration Areas 1, 14, 2 and Kingfisher Discovery

Asea In the Albertine Graben In Uganda or thelr affiliates will participate In the Implementation of the EACOP Project (Potential Pipeline Partisans).

‘The EACOP Project development Involves the engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of a crude ofl export pipeline crossing Uganda

and Tanzania and an onshore Harine Terminal in Chongoleant near Tanga Port in Tanzania.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF THE MATERIALS

‘The EACOP requirements for the Bared Tees as per relevant International standards (ASME 6 169° ASTM A860 | AST AB60%: manufacturing

standards and Project datasheet complete with:

  • Bared Tee and Its dimensions shall be in accordance with ASME B16.9 and Project Specification.
  • The material used in the manufacture of tees shall be ASTM 4 860’A B60H Grade WPHY-65.
  • Fittings shall be heat-treated in accordance with procedures established by VENDOR and approved by Company.
  • Barred tees internal diameter and wall thickness shall be as per the project datasheet.
  • Barred tees shall be forged welding tee as per ASME 631.4 table 402.1-1: Circumferential welds shall not be permitted other than for the

welding of an extension pup place to the branch.

  • All barred tees shall be suitable for the passage of pipeline pigs and in line inspection tools in both directions through the header run.
  • Inspection & testing of material shall Include but not limited to Tensile and yield properties, Hardness Testing, Charpoy V-notch Impact testing, hydrostatic testing and Non-destructive examination. Material Test Reports shall be as per EN 10204 Type 3.2.
  •  ifteesare manufactured, test rings; prolongations; shall be provided of the same heat of material and heat treatment condition as the supplied tears).
  • Marking, Documentation, Packing and Forwarding, Shipping as per project specification.

‘The scope will Include design, sourcing of material, manufacturing, assembly, packaging, supply of drawings and data, all sub-vendor’s co-ordination, factory testing, delivery FCA vendor and guarantees.

MMINIPAUM REQUIREMENTS:

Companies expressing their Interest are Invited to document their request with:

  • A commitment to and evidence that they have experience In developing local national content value.
  • Confirmation that they can manufacture (design ‘construction | Inspection & tasting | assembly; of Barred Tees as per relevant International standards.
  • An experience list for similar equipment supplied to the Upstream On and Gas Market In the last five (6) years.
  • A copy of their own and main suppliers SO 9001-2015 and 14001:2015 & OHSAS 19001: S045001:2015) current certification.
  • Extracts from their Supply Quality Management Procedures, showing how material quality control is Implemented in the supply chain and

Identify what positive material identification is Implemented through the manufacturing process.

  • A two (2: years look ahead shop loading charts for the facilities intended to manufacture, assemble and test.
  • In plant and site installation works safety record.
  • Delivery to schedule record over the previous 2 years.
  • In country maintenance support capabilities.

Interested companies which meet the minimum requirements and have the capacity to provide the goods listed above should express their Interest by sending together with the above listed documents an email to EACOP-supolierinfosworley.com (Max. Email Size: 20 MBs & All documents must be submitted in the English language) on or before 17:00 hours East African Time (EAT], on 7″ December 2021.

Companies satisfactorily meeting the above minimum requirements will receive, subject to the signature of 3 Hon-Disclosure Agreement {HDA}, detailed pre-qualification questionnaire for further evaluation by Company.

EACOP project reserves the right mot to consider companies that submit an incomplete dossier. Only pre-qualified companies wall reciter an Invitation to submit their bid In furtherance of the Call for Tender process.
