PROVISION OF CATERING SERVICES AT THE BANK OF TANZANIA MTWARA BRANCH
INVITATION FOR BIDS 28th October,2019
1.The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operations of Mtwara Branch during the financial year 2019/20. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Provision of Catering services.
2. The Bank of Tanzania now invites sealed bids from eligible Service Providers for the Provision of Catering Services for a period of two years as follows;

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations.
4. Bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary, Bank of Tanzania Mtwara Branch Delegated Tender Board, Rahaleo street, Makonde Road, 3rd Floor, P.O.BOX 1446 Mtwara from 0830 hours to 1630 hours on Monday to Friday except on Saturday, Sundays and public holidays. ‘
5. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional Sets may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00. Payment should either be by Electronic Payment Transfer (Account Name: Intermediary Account, Account Number: 9924DAMTW or Banker’s Cheque payable to Bank of Tanzania)
6. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Bidding documents.
7. All bids in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “Tender for Provision of Catering services at the Bank of Tanzania Mtwara Branch” must be delivered to the Secretary, Bank of Tanzania Mtwara Branch Delegated Tender Board, Raha leo street, Makonde Road, 3rd Floor, P.O.BOX 1446 Mtwara at or before 11.00 hours on 11th November, 2019.
8. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter at the Bank of Tanzania, Mtwara Branch conference room in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
9. Late Bids, Portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, Bids not received, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstances.
