Assignment Title: PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF THE FEASIBILITY, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF A MANAGED AQUIFER RECHARGE (MAR) SYSTEM TO INCREASE WATER RESILIENCE OF THE CITY OF DODOMA.

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the SECOND WATER SECTOR SUPPORT PROJECT (WSSP II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting service: THE ASSESSMENT OF THE FEASIBILITY, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF A MANAGED AQUIFER RECHARGE (MAR) SYSTEM TO INCREASE WATER RESILIENCE OF THE CITY OF DODOMA
The WAMI/RUVU BASIN WATER BOARD (WRBWB) now invites eligible consulting firms Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide Information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: Experience on similar assignments, Experience in similar conditions and Availability of appropriate Skills among Staff.
The attention of Interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants [under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants] by World Bank Borrowers Selection and Employment of Consultants of January 2011 and reversed July 2014. (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
In addition, please refer to me following specific Information on conflict of interest related to this assignment: Consultant provide professional, objective and impartial advice and at all times hold the cllens interest paramount, without any consideration for the future work and that Is providing advice they avoid conflict with other assignments and their own corporate interest.
Consultant shall not be hired for any assignment that would be in conflict with their prior or current obligation to other client or that may place them in a position of being unable to carry out the assignment in the best Interest of the borrower. Without limitation on the generality foregoing, consultant shall not be hired under the circumstance set under guideline 1.9 (a-d)
Consultants may associate with other firms In the form of a joint venture or a sub consultancy to enhance their qualifications. A Consultant will be selected In accordance with the Quality Cost Based Selection method set out In the Consultant Guidelines.

Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below In person or any other postal means to the office of The Secretary, Wami/Ruvu Basin Tender Board, Mazlmbu Road-Majl Yard, PMU Office, Morogoro Municipal at or before 11.00 AM Local Time on 06th January, 2020.
Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstances
