EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR CARRYING OUT FEASIBILITY STUDY, DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN AND PREPARATION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS FOR UPGRADING OF MKUYUNI NYAKATO ROAD( 10 KM )TO BITUMEN STANDARD
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice which was posted on Tender Portal (PPRA Website) and TANROADS website as per Public Procurement Regulation guidance as from 10th May , 2019
2. The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) has received funds from the Road Fund (Development Fund) for Financial Year 2019/2020 towards the cost for Provision of Consultancy Services for carrying out Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design and preparation of tender documents for Upgrading of Mkuyuni Nyakato Road (10km) to Bitumen standard in Mwanza Region.
3. The Regional Manager, TANROADS Mwanza region on behalf of Chief Executive of TANROADS now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. The interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (broachers, description of similar assignment performed, experience in similar conditions in East Africa Region, availability of appropriate skill among staff, etc). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
4. Expression of Interest is open to all Consultants registered with the Engineers Registration Board, Tanzania (ERB).
5. The Consultant will be selected in accordance with procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Selection and Employment of Consultants) Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No.446.
6. Interested eligible Consultants may obtain further information at the Regional Manager’s Office Mwanza, located along station road opposite Railway station Terminal Ujenzi Building P. O. Box 1410, Mwanza from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
7. This is not a request for proposals. Expression of Interest received will be reviewed to prepare a shortlist of consultants that responded to this notice. Short-Iisted consultants will be invited to submit Technical and Financial proposals through letter of invitation including specific terms of reference.
8. Expression of interest in one original plus two copies must be enclosed in a sealed envelope properly addressed» ‘ must be delivered to the Secretary Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board, P. O. Box 1410, Mwanza ‘at or before.10:30 hours local time on 11th December, 2019. The envelope containing EOI must be clearly I marked ” Expression of Interest for Provision of Consultancy Services for carrying out Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design and preparation of tender documents for Upgrading of Mkuyuni Nyakato Road (10km) to Bitumen standard in Mwanza Region
9Late Expression of interest, portion of Expression of interest, electronic Expression of interest, Expression of interest not received, Expression of interest not opened and not read out in public at the Expression of interest opening ceremony, shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
