Invitation for Expressions of interest (EOl)

for
Provision of Consultancy Services for Designing Work at Bank of Tanzania Nyerere Road Mwanza Branch.
1. This Invitation for Expression of Interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in PPRA TANePS on 23″July, 2019.
2. The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for various activities during financial year 2019/2020. under the contract for the Provision of Consultancy Services for Designing Work at Bank 61‘ Tanzania Nyerere Rood Mwanza.
3. The building and associated amenities will be constructed on current location of the Old BOT Branch Office Building Plot No. 1 0nd 2 K Nyerere Road Mwanza. The building shall comprise but not limited of Ten (10) classrooms each to accommodate 50 students: Three (3) seminar rooms each to accommodate 25 students; Eleven (1 1) offices at the second floor of the building; One library to be located at the current strong room, which will accommodate users depending on the available space; One canteen to be located at the current dispensary.
4. The Bank of Tanzania now invites competent and experienced eligible firms to indicate their interest in Provision of Consultancy Services which include but not limited to Site surveys, Architectural Design, Structural Designs: Service Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Firefighting, Security System and lCT), Quantity Surveying: preparation of Tender Documents, participating on Tender Processing and Post Contract Supervision all in one package.
5. lnterested Consultants must provide information indicating their capability to undertake this assignment. Such information shall include consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, availability of appropriate skills among staff, financial capabilities, resources. etc. Consultants may associate to enhance qualifications.
6. A short list of consulting firms will be prepared on the basis of Expressions of Interest submitted to the Bank of Tanzania in writing. The procurement process will be based on National Selection Method and conducted in accordance with procedures set out by the Public Procurement Act, 2011(05 amended 2016) and the Public Procurement Regulations. 2013 (as amended 2016).
7. lnterested consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary, 301’ Tender Board, 2nd Floor South Tower, 2 mirambo Street, 11884 Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Telephone No. +255 22 223 5194: on Monday to Friday inclusive, except on public holidays., before the deadline for submission of Expression of Interest.
8. Expression of Interest in one original plus two copies enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked “Expression of Interest for Provision of Consultancy Services tor Designing Work at Nyerere Road Mwanza.” must be delivered to the address indicated in para 7 cut or before 11.00 hours local time on Thursday 11th December, 2019
9. Late expression of interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
