PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATIONAL STANDARD FOR MEDICAL LABORATORY EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION LIST

INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows general procurement notice which appeared in Tanzania National Electronic Procurement system dated 6/8/2020
2. The government of Tanzania has a set aside fund for the operations of the Ministry of Health during the financial year 2020/2021. Its intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the provision of consultancy services for development of  the national Standard for Medical Laboratory Equipment Specification List
3. the Ministry of Health now invites individual consultancy to indicate their interest in providing services which include provision of consultancy services for the  development of the national standard for medical laboratory equipment specification list for 30 days
4. interested individual consultancy must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting updated CV descriptions of similar assignment experience in similar conditions and relevant skills , interested individual consultancy must also submit financial proposal in writing
5. you are requested to submit your written expression of interest 1 original plus 2 copies of detailed CV and combined technical and financial proposal by 21/08/2020 at of before 11:00 local time the two envelopes shall be enclosed in a single envelope and marked proposal for the provision of the consultancy services development of the national standards for medical laboratory equipment’s specification list and submitted to the following address

6. the opening of CV shall take place immediately after the deadline for submission t the NHIF building 6^th floor PMU Office applying individual consultants are invited to attend the opening ceremony
7. a consultancy will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the public procurement Act No 7 of 20qq as amended in 2016 and the Public procurement regulatory 2013 – government notice no 446 amended in 2016
8. CVs shall be evaluated on the basis of the criteria shown in the terms of reference only individual consultancy scoring above 70 shall be engaged(depending on their availability) to carry out the assignment during the financial year 2020/2021
9.  Prospective individual consultancy are required to collect the terms of reference from the secretary tender board whose address is indicated on paragraph 5 above during working days(Monday-Friday) between 9:00 – 15:00 pm
10. Any request for clarifications with regard to this assignment shall be addresses to the undersigned not less than 7 days before deadline for submission. The client shall respond to clarification received within 3 working days from the date of the receipt of query
11. Late expression of the interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
