Position: Quantity Surveyor

Tumsifu Construction Limited is a local registered company based in Dar es Salaam, mainly dealing with civil engineering and road works.
Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor.
- The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing costs and contracts related to construction projects.
- Their responsibilities include estimating costs, preparing bids, negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and tracking project progress. Although based in Dar es Salaam City, remote work is also acceptable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or a similar role.
- Exceptional knowledge of construction materials methods, and legal regulations.
- Clear understanding of FIDIC and EAMS Contracts and Methods of Measurement.
- Registration with Quantity Surveying Bodies.
- Ability to measure through AutoCAD, CostX, Scaled and Unscaled Drawings.
- Ability to prepare Bill of Quantities, Detailed Claim
- Applications and Review Bill of Quantities.
- Great analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Excellent knowledge of mathematics.
- Flexibility to stay out of Station.
