Re- advertisement for Pre-Qualification of Suppliers

Re-Minting and Supply of Coins at Bank of Tanzania Sub-Head Office
Dar es Salaam.
1. This re-advertisement for Pre-Qualification of Suppliers follows the General
Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Tanzania National
Electronic Procurement System (TANePS) dated 1st July, 2022, updated from time
to time.
2. The Bank of Tanzania intends to pre-qualify Suppliers for Re-Minting and Supply
of Coins. Only shortlisted Suppliers shall be invited under Restrictive Tendering
Arrangement.
3. Pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified in regulation
119 of the Public Procurement Regulations, – Government Notice No. 446 of 2013
as amended in 2016, and is open to all applicants who are eligible in Re-Minting
and Supply of Coins as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested applicants may obtain further information by accessing a complete set
of pre-qualification document(s) in the English Language through TANePS.
5. A complete set of pre-qualification document(s) may be obtained through TANePS
after payment of non-refundable participation fee as indicated in TANePS. The
participation fee can be paid by Bank Card or Control Number generated in
TANePS during application Submission.
6. There is no Pre – Qualification Meeting, however applicants may submit request
for clarifications through TANePS within seven (7) days prior to pre-qualification
closing date and all clarification responses shall be communicated to all applicants
through TANePS. Any request for clarification raised outside TANePS shall not be
attended.
7. All applications shall be submitted through TANePS at or before time as indicated
in TANePS. Applications will be opened promptly thereafter on TANePSdashboard and applicants may participate in the opening by logging into the
TANePS.
8. Applications not received through TANePS shall not be accepted for evaluation
irrespective of the circumstances.
9. Bank of Tanzania reserves the right to accept or reject any application, and to
annul the prequalification process and reject all applications at any time without
thereby incurring any liability to the applicants.
