REFURBISHMENT OF TANK NO. S33

1. Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Co Ltd(TIPER) is a bulk storage facility for Petroleum Products with its shares divided equally between the Government of Tanzania and Oryx Energies SA of Switzerland. The Company office is located at Kigamboni Industrial Area, Depot site-plot 1, Dar es Salaam-Tanzania.
2. TIPER hereby invites via National Competitive Bidding (NCB) experienced Class One Mechanical contractors to bid for the Refurbishment of its Steel Vertical Storage Tank No. $33 with useful capacity of 3,772 cubic meters for Automotive Gasoil (AGO) as per API 653 standards.
3. Eligible Contractors must have experience in similar works performed with at least three reputable organizations.
4. Interested and eligible bidders may request electronic copy of tender document by sending their request letters through the following email: [email protected] from 18th May, 2022 to 30 May, 2022 from Monday to Friday, between 8:00A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
5. Bids MUST be submitted in hard copies only.
6. All bids submitted in plain sealed envelopes in one original plus one copy, properly filled and marked TENDER NO: TP/05/2022/NCB/W/004 FOR REFURBISHMENT OF TANK NO. S33. All bids must be delivered physically to; The Secretary, Tender Committee, Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Limited (TIPER), P.O. Box 2608, Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. The deadline for submission of Tender documents will be 4.00 P.M. local time on I st June, 2022
7. Bidders MUST visit the site before bidding. Site visit will be conducted on 24 May, 2022 at 10:30am to 11:30 am local time.
8. During the site visit all bidders will be required to come with own PPE’s (Personal Protective Equipment) which meets TIPER standards. This includes Steel Toe Safety Boots, Cotton Overcoat and Helmet. Bidders without PPE’s will not be allowed onto the site.
9. There shall be NO public opening of bids.
10. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids will not be considered for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
11. TIPER is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
