REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: SUPPLY OF AGRICULTURE INPUTS AND IMPLEMENTS TO EACOP PROJECT

Total Energies East Africa Midstream B.V. (Company) Tanzania, an Oil and Gas company, invites experienced and reputable organizations to express their interest in providing services to the East African Crude Oil Pipeline [EACOP} project related to the livelihoods Restoration Programme management.
The EACOP project involves the construction and operation of a buried, cross-border pipeline to transport crude oil from the Lake Albert area in Uganda to the eastern coast of Tanzania for export to international markets, the pipeline will run from Kabaale in Hoima District, Uganda, to Chongoleani, Tanga Region, in Tanzania. The length of the pipeline is 1,443 km, of which 1,147 km will be in Tanzania traversing eight (8) regions, comprising Kagera, Geita, Shinyanga, fabora, Singida, Dodoma, Manyara and Tanga, and 27 administrative district councils and 231 Villages.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF THE SERVICES:
The COMPANY requires a land corridor and associated facility sites for the construction and operation of the pipeline. Land acquisition process is being undertaken under the Tanzanian legal framework compliant with International Financing Standards.
The provision of replacement agricultural and residential land to Project Affected Persons (PAPs} and livelihoods restoration enabling support are provided to Project Affected Households.
The Project is seeking a reputable experienced Tanzanian company with ability and capacity to supply agricultural inputs and equipment to the project’s priority areas located along the route of the pipeline. The districts where these items are required to be delivered are in:
1. Western Zone:
- Missenyi and Mulebo districts (Kagera region).
- Chato and Bukombe districts (Geita region).
2.Central Zone:
- Kondoa districts {Dodoma region}.
- Igunga districts (labora region).
- lamba districts (Singida region).
3.Eastern Zone:
- Kiteto districts (Manyara region}.
- Kilindi, Handeni and Muheza districts (Tanga region}.
The scope requires supply of the following agricultural inputs in quantities to be specified later:
a} Designated high qualty hybrid and/or Ow seed vatities including but not limited to maize, groundnuts, beans.
b} Cuttings and slippers for designated cultivars of cassava and banana.
c} Designated chemical fertilisers and agricultural lime.
\d} Designated Agri-chemicals.
le} Specified agricultural equipment including but not limited to knapsack sprayers and agricultural tools/implements.
f} Safety equipment including but not limited? to overalls, safety boots, glasses, gloves, masks.
All local storage prior to handover will be responsibility of the contractor and will be subject to inspection and monitoring by company staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Organizations expressing their interest are invited to document their request with:
- Proof of registration as institutions whose activities are directly linked with Agri-inputs and equipment supplies.
- Proof of registration with the Tanzania Revenue Authority and Tax {TRA} Clearance Certificate for the latest year available.
- Brief description of experience and capacity to supply required products.
- Application for registration with the EWVURA Local Supplier Service Provider {LSSP] database at the time of submission at the response to this PApression of interest is strongly recommended.
- Compliance with Local Content Regulations, 2017 and Local Company definition.
COMPANY will allow TENDERERS to submit a proposal for a minimum of two zones or for all three zones.

Note: The EACOP project will review and assess the documents provided by the interested companies to derive a list of prequalified companies. Only prequalified companies will receive, subject to signature of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), invitation to submit bids in furtherance of the call for tender process. All Expression of Interests should be submitted in English Language.
