REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
INVITATION FOR TENDER
- This invitation for bids follow the general procurement notice of Zanzibar Revenue Board that appeared in the Zanzibar Leo of 16th September 2019 and throught ZRB-e-procurement web portal zanrevenue.org/eprc
- Zanzibar Revenue Board has set aside funds from its budget for the financial year 2019/2020. Its intend that part of the process of the funds will be applied to cover eligible payment under the contract for Development Of A Three Year Strategic Plan For Implementation And Management Of Electronic Fiscal Device (Efd) In Zanzibar
- The over all scope of assignment will involves conducting a survy on tax payer perception on EFD propose required policies and legislative procedure and efficient measured to be taken into virtual fiscal device ope rationalization by all taxpayer in collecting taxes revenue and non- tax revenue at sources entities such as ministries department and agencies in real-times in Zanzibar
Finally the assignment shall involve designing a strategic formulation in administrative perspectives and developing an implementation plan operational plan to achieve the best possible result establishment on EFD IN both Unguja and Pemba - The Zanzibar revenue board on behalf of the revolution of Zanzibar now invites eligible consulting that they are qualified to perform the services (description of experience in similar assignment experience of working in similar condition availability of appropriate skills among staff including team leader. EFD Technical expert tax expert and other relevant information of the firm including legal status of the firm ie. Firms legal documents and he firms core functions) consultancy may associate to enhance their qualifications
- Consultancy will be selected in accordance with the Zanzibar Public procurement and disposal of public asset act No. 2016 and its regulations ( selections and employment of consultancy based on quality and cost based selection i.e QCBS) in assessing the submission consideration will be given to the technical competence of the consultancy the qualification and experienced of key staff to be proposed for the assignment experience in similar projects and the capacity to undertake assignment
- Interested consultancy may obtain further information at the address below from 8: 00-15: 00 Monday to Friday
- This is not a requested for proposal after a review of expression of interest only the best-qualified consultancy will be invited to submit the technical and financial proposal. The consultancy will be foe the period of 90 days and is expected to commence on April 2020
- Any request clarification with regard to this assignment shall be addressed to the undersigned the client shall respond to clarification received not less than one week before the deadline for submission
- Expression of interest in one original and 3 copies must be delivered to the address below at or before 10: 00 rs Thursday 6 February 2020 marked development of a three year strategic plan for implementation and management of electronic fiscal device in Zanzibar
- The expression of interest will be opened immediately after deadline for submission in public and n the presence of consultancy representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the conference room 4th floor of the ZRB – Mazizini Zanzibar
- Late expression of interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
