The Secretariat of the joint Songwe River Basin Commission has received a financing from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through the African Development Bank towards the cost of the Strengthening Transboundary Cooperation and Integrated Natural Resources Management in the Songwe River Basin (STCINRM-SRB) Project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for Provision of Consultancy Services for Flood Early Warning Systems (FEWS).
The services included under this project are Provision of Consultancy service for Flood Early Warning System (FEW) for Songwe River Basin Commission for financial year 2020/2021.
The Secretariat of the joint Songwe River Basin Commission now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures. description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.), Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” May 2008 Edition, Revised July 2012 which 1s available on the Bank’s website at http:// www.afdb.org.
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 09:00 hrs (EAT) to 17:00 hrs (EAT) from Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
Expressions of interest must be in hard copy and delivered to the address below by 12th January, 2021 at 11:30 HRS (EAT) and mention “Provision of Consultancy services for Flood Early Warning System (FEWS) for Songwe River Basin Commission”.
