NOTICE FOR CONSULTING SERVICES

RFP Simple Time Based Contracts

Dear Mr. /Ms.

1. This Invitation for submission of Proposals follows the General Procurement Notice for
   project which appeared in Tanzania National e-Procurement System (TANePS) Issue no.
   ONE dated 30/01/2020.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has allocated public funds for the
   cost of SUPPORT OF ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) SAGE 300 SYSTEM
   FOR 2019/2020 and intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the
   Contract for which the Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued.
3. The Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Ltd now invites proposals to provide the following
   consulting services: The main objective of the service is to improve effectiveness and
   efficiency of the System in daily operations. The Consultant is expected to perform the
   following services: (a) Addressing of the existing system problems as per paragraph 5.0.
   (b) Unlimited support services during the contract period of one year. (c) Integration of
   the entire business processes: Business (Marketing), Editorial, Printing, Procurement,
   Distribution and Human Resource. (Marketing+Editorial+Printing+Procurement
   +Distribution+Human Resource) (d) Improvement and operationalizing of stock
   requisition process. (e) Training of users including comprehensive training initially for 7
   days refresher trainings in every quarter for 3 days each. More details on the services are
   provided in the Terms of Reference.
4. This Letter of Invitation and the RFP has been issued to the following short-listed
   Consultants:
   It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other firm.
5. A firm will be selected under National Competitive Selection and procedures described
   in this RFP.
6. In addition to the Letter of Invitation, the RFP includes the following documents, which
   are available online under the Tender Documents section of TANePS:

7. Please inform us in writing or in electronic forms that provide record of the content of the
   communication, at the following address Dar es Salaam , upon receipt:
   (a) that you have received the Letter of Invitation and the RFP; and
   (b) whether you will submit a proposal alone or in association with any other
   Consultant.
