Short listing of Service Providers for FY 2020
- WWF Tanzania Country Office is a Non- Government Organization dealing with environmental protection in Tanzania since 1990 and it has supported the Government of Tanzania in implementing various projects on Marine, Forest, Fresh Water, Energy and Wildlife. WWF global mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by:
- Conserving the world’s biological diversity
- Ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable and
- Promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption
2. WWFTCO is hereby inviting proposals from eligible & established service providers for various commonly needed goods and services for the next 2 years, this process is competitive and that, successful applicants will form part of the WWF suppliers’ database for the applied ‘category and that, tenders will be offered on competitive basis
3. All registered, eligible and reputable firms are advised to submit their proposals based on the ‘tender document requirements’ ONE original plus TWO copies, properly filled and enclosed in a wax sealed envelope
4. The Application prepared by the Applicant, as well as all correspondence and documents relating to the Application exchanged by the Applicant and WWF shall be written in English and currency used shall be in Tanzanian Shilling – TZS and not any other. Supporting documents and printed literature provided by the Applicant may be in another language provided they are accompanied by an accurate translation of the relevant passages in English, in which case, for purposes of Interpretation of the Application, the translation shall govern.
5. Tender document can be collected upon payment by cash or through bank transfer a “non-refundable fee” of TZS 100,000.00 from WWE Tanzania Country Offices located at address highlighted on #6 below (a copy of payment proof also will be attached to the proposal to be part of the evaluation)
6. 7. Evaluation of the proposals will be done based on WWF procurement guidelines and that.
8. WWF Tanzania is not bound to accept any lowest or highest proposal
9. All applications should reach us by or before Friday, 14th February, 2020 at 10: 00 hrs Tanzania local time, all applications will be opened thereafter in presence of all applicants or their representatives who choose to attend as it has been indicated in the bid document.
