ii. BUL-RFQ-21-11-09-PM – Supply of new Paste Continuous Mixer – 1 set
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine (“the Company’), a fully owned subsidiary of Twiga Minerals Corporation, which is ultimately owned by Barrick Gold Corporation and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania requests the submission of Quotes from reputable, experienced, certified, and qualified parties to provide the following:
1. BUL-RFQ-21-11-07-EF – Purchase of Complete Substation and MCC – Upgrade of East Fan MCC -1 sets
- The current East Fan Substation & MCC poses a significant danger when HV switching has to be done, as the containerized Substation & MCC does not provide enough space/clearance when HV switching takes place.
- The HV and motor protection relays are outdated and replacement parts are difficult to find. The Substation & MCC container is also uninsulated resulting in high indoor temperatures. The motor temperature and vibration monitoring circuit also requires an upgrade
- Required to purchase one complete Substation & MCC that are required in order to provide safe HV switching, motor protection, fire detection, SCADA control and future HV expansion.

2. BUL-RFQ-21-11-09-PM – Purchase of new Paste Continuous Mixer – 1 set

- Model – MIXER MDC 500 PASTE
- Mixing capacity between 120 and up to 250 cu.mts/hr.
- Mixing motors power 2 x 30 Kw. 400 V. 50 Hz. IP55 protected
- Extended version mixing tank, including two overflow outlet for material discharge
- Two lower discharge valves 6″ diameter, for water and washing drainage, driven by hydraulic
- Two planetary type gearboxes with two reduction stages, driven t by two electric motors
- Two mixing shafts made of forged steel, supported by double rollers bearings
- Centralized lubrication circuit

- A written statement indicating Tanzanian ownership percentage, Tanzanian management and below management employment percentage to determine classification as an Indigenous Tanzanian Company as per the Local Content Regulation, 2018;
- Applicable certification, accreditation, affiliated registrations, and letter of dealership as required;
- Approved Local Content Plan or acknowledgement of submission from the Mining Commissioner
