Jhpiego focus is on training and support for health care providers-including doctors, nurses, midwives and health educators working in limited-resource settings throughout Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Jhpiego program management strategy recognizes the technical complexity and geographical, cultural, socio-economic and political diversity among our programs. We develop global program initiatives and technical interventions that can be adapted for country-specific applications. In support of this field-driven philosophy, Jhpiego uses a decentralized organizational structure that consists of a global “delivery system” designed to implement the entire portfolio of Jhpiego awards with assistance from key technical, programmatic and administrative staff
Jhpiego Tanzania office hereby invites sealed bids from eligible registered suppliers for supply and delivery of nine (9) 40 feet containers in specified locations listed below.
- Three (3) 40 feet containers to be delivered in Shinyanga at Shinyanga Regional Hospital compound.
- Three (3) 40 feet containers to be delivered in Dar es Salaam at Mwananyamala Hospital compound.
- Three (3) 40 feet containers to be delivered in Njombe at Kibena Hospital in Njombe Town Council.
All bidders should include in their bids
- A copy of business registration,
- A copy of the business license,
- “At least three references for similar supply in recent years and evidence of such supply.
The proposed cost should cover all associated costs that include but not limited to delivery, offloading, etc. of containers to the specified locations above.
A prospective bidder having any question regarding this RFQ shall send an email 3 days prior to the due date and time for submission of offers to the following address: TZ-Jhpiegobids @jhpiego.org.
All bids in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in sealed plain envelopes must be delivered to the address given below before Friday, 24th January 2020 at 10:00 AM. The sealed envelopes should be marked as “RFQ No. 3321 for supply and delivery of 40 feet containers” *
Jhpiego reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to offeror’s. The Jhpiego is under no obligation to accept the lowest proposal.
Late bids, electronic proposals, proposals not received shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
