INVITATION FOR TENDER

Tender No. AE/092/2019-20/DSM/W/01 LOT 1

For

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF PAVED ROADS IN ILALA MUNICIPALITY

1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for Project, which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal [TPJ] Vol Xll No. 24 dated 11th June, 2019 and Tender Portal on 7^thJune,2019.

2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the TARURA llala Municipal. be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Routine maintenance of paved roads in Mala Municipality.

3. The Regional Coordinator Dar es Salaam on behalf of The Chief Executive TARURA now invites sealed tenders described above from the eligible Local Civil contractors Registered by Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Class VI and above.

5. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCB) specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice No.446 of 2013 as amended in 2016 and is open to aII Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.

6. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Document at the office of the Secretary of Delegated TARURA Regional Tender Board, Samora Avenue Extelecoms Tower (TTCL Building), 2^nd Floor, P.O. Box 9253, Dar es Salaam, from 08.30 to 16.30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on Public holidays.

7. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Thousand only (TZS 100,000.00). Payment should be made to TARURA Collection Account, A/C No. 53010001080; NMB Kambarage Branch using CONTROL NUMBER that will be provided by the TARURA DAR ES SALAAM.

8. A Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents must accompany all Tenders.

9. All Tenders in One original plus three (3) copies, duly marked “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary of Delegated TARURA Regional Tender Board, Samora Avenue, Extelecoms Towers (TTCL Building), 2^nd Floor, P.0. Box 9253, Dar es Salaam at or before 11:00 hours on Wednesday,  20^th November, 2019. Marked Tender NUMBER and DESCRIPTION. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Regional Coordinator TARURA, Samora Avenue, Extelecom Tower (TTCL Building), 2^nd Floor, P.O. Box 9253, Dar es Salaam.

10. Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
