CONTRACT TITTLE: SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF FURNITURE FOR SIX INTEGRATED JUSTICE CENTRES(IJCs) LOCATED IN MWANZA, MOROGORO, ARUSHA, DODOMA, KINONDONI & TEMEKE DAR ES SALAAM

  1. This invitation for tender follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in United Nations Development Business Issue No. WB1907-04/16 April 27,2016
  2. The Government of Tanzania through Judiciary has received credit from the international development association financing from the world bank toward the cost of the citizen-eccentric-judiciary modernization and justice services delivered project an intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payment under the contract for supply installation commissioning of furniture of 6 integrated justice located in Mwanza, Arusha, Morogoro, Dodoma, Kinondoni & Temeke Dar es Salaam
  3. The Judiciary of Tanzania now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply, installation and commissioning of furniture for integrated justice centres in the following lots

Lot 1: Supply, installation and commissioning of furniture for integrated Justice (IJC) in Mwanza
Lot 2: Supply, installation and commissioning of furniture for integrated Justice (IJC) in Morogoro
Lot 3: Supply, installation and commissioning of furniture for integrated Justice (IJC) in Arusha
Lot 4: Supply, installation and commissioning of furniture for integrated Justice (IJC) in Dodoma
Lot 5: Supply, installation and commissioning of furniture for integrated Justice (IJC) in Temeke Dar es Salaam
Lot 6: Supply, installation and commissioning of furniture for integrated Justice (IJC) in Kinondoni Dar es Salaam

Bidders have the option to bid for any one or more lots. Bids will be evaluated lot-wise, taking into account discount offered if any for combined lots. The contracts will be awarded to the bidder of bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost to the purchase for combined lots, subject to the selected bidders meeting the required qualification criteria for a lot or combination of lots as the case may be

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding procedures as specified in the world bank guidelines procurement of goods works and non-consulting services under the IRBD Loans and IDA Credit & grants by world bank borrowers dated January 2011 revised July 2014(procurement guideline) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in thr procurement guidelines in additional please refer to the paragraph 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the world bank policy on conflict of interest
  2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Judiciary of Tanzania and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 9:00 – 15:00 Monday – Friday except on public holidays at the address given below
  3. A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon of non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000/= or its equivalents amount in any freely convertible currency payable to Chief Administrator, P.O. BOX 9004, DAR ES SALAAM through direct deposit or telegraphic transfer to the following bank account

Local bidders must make this payment through the established government electronic gateway using payment control number that should be requested through emails address phone number or physical from the address given below

  1. The document will be collected physical from the address given below
  2. Bids must delivered to the address below before 11:0028th July 2020. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected, bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below mentioned immediately after submission deadline
  3. All bids must be accompanied by security of TZS 25,000,000 or the equivalent amount in any freely convertible currency for each lot. The bid security shall be clearly addressed to the chief court administrator, bid security shall be valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity period afer bid submission deadline
