SUPPLY OF TWO (2) 4WD BRAND NEW DOUBLE CABIN PICK-UP) AND ONE (1)
HARD TOP 5 DOOR 10-SEATER FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND
IMPLIMENTATATION.

1. The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has received financing from the African
   Development Bank toward the cost of the Support for Skills Development and Youth Employment
   in the Blue Economy Project (SEBEP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan
   to payments under the contract for “Supply of two (2) 4WD Brand New Double Cabin Pick-Up)
   and one (1) Hard Top 5 door 10-Seater for Project Management and Implementation*.
2. The Principal Secretary Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Zanzibar now invites
   sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply of 2New 4WD Double Cabin Pick-Up and One
   (1) Hard Top 5 Doors 10-Saters for Project Office as itemized in the table below.

3. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids
   (RFB)as specified in the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy Framework dated
   October 2015, which is available on the Banks website at http://www.afdb.org. and is open to all
   eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Policy.
4. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security from reputable commercial Bank properly
   addressed to the beneficiary Principal Secretary, Ministry of Education and Vocational Training,
   Zanzibar in the form and amount specified in bid data sheet. The Bid Security shall be valid for not
   less than twenty-eight (28) calendar-days after the bid’s submission deadline.

9. inspect the bidding document during office hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. local time on
10. Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on public holidays.
11. 6 The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of
12. a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS
13. 100,000.00 (Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Fifty Thousand Only) or its equivalent in a freely
14. convertible currency. The method of payment will be transferred through the control number which
15. will be available upon request by the supplier during working days from 7:30 to 3:30 p.m to the
16. email mentioned above.
17. Bids must be delivered to the address provided under paragraph five (5) above on or before 31st
    May 2023 at t 10:00 a.m. local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be
    rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone
    who chooses to attend in person at the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Conference
    Room, Zanzibar, 10:30 am immediately after the deadline for bid submission.
18. The bidding document is being provided in the hard copy. However, only for the convenience of
    the bidders, in filling the various forms, a soft copy will be provided through email upon request.
    But bidders should note that in case of any difference in the hard copy and soft copy, the one in the
    hard copy will prevail.
