Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
   which appeared in TANePS Issue no. 4th September 2022 dated 04/09/2022.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation
   of the Tanzania National Roads Agency – HQ during the financial year 2022/2023. It
   is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment
   under the contract for the Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering
   Design and Preparation of Tender Documents for Upgrading of Nyankumbu – Nyang’wale

1. The Tanzania National Roads Agency – HQ now invites eligible Firms to indicate
   their interest in providing the services which include CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR
   FEASIBILITY STUDY, DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN, ENVIRONMENTAL AND
   SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT AND PREPARATION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
   FOR UPGRADING OF NYANKUMBU (GEITA) – NYANG’WALE – KHARUMWA –
   NYANG’OLONGO – NYAMBULA (KAHAMA) (149 KM) ROAD AND NYANG’WALE

• BUSOLWA SPUR ROAD (12 KM) TO BITUMEN STANDARD; TENDER NO.

1. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
2. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
3. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures
   specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
   Secretary, TANROADS Headquarters Tender Board, 3rd Floor, 10 Shaaban Robert
   Streets/Garden Avenue, P.O. Box 11364, Dar es Salaam, [email protected] from
   08:30-16:30 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
   before 09/02/2023, 10:00
6. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
   circumstances.
