Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice
   (GPN) which appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue no.
   WB-0P0015674 dated 28/11/2021.
2. The Mbeya University of Science and Technology received/has applied for/intends to
   apply for a loan from the WORLD BANK towards the cost of HIGHER EDUCATION FOR
   ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION (HEET) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of
   this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Review
   Design Documents, Preparation of Tender Documents, Cost Estimates and Supervision
   of Building Works – Academic Block, New Workshops and Centre for Innovation and
   Technology Transfer at MUST Main Campus.
3. The Mbeya University of Science and Technology now invites eligible Firms to indicate
   their interest in providing the services which include Consultancy Services for Review
   Design Documents, Preparation of Tender Documents, Cost Estimates and Supervision
   of Building Works – Academic Block, New Workshops and Centre for Innovation and
   Technology Transfer at MUST Main Campus For financial year 2022/2023
4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures
   specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
   Mbeya, [email protected] from 07:30-15:30 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public
   holidays.
8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
   before 03/01/2023, 14:00
9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
   circumstances.
