Disposal of Returns and Wastes
Invitation to Tender

1. The Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Ltd intends to dispose Disposal of Returns and
   Wastes. The Disposal of Returns and Wastes are disposed on “as is, where is” basis and the
   procuring entity shall have no further liability after sale.
2. The Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Ltd now invites sealed Tenders for the purchase of
   Disposal of Returns and Wastes as follows:

4. Bidders are allowed to quote for One or more lots and award will be made on lot by lot
   basis.
5. Tendering will be conducted through the National Disposal by Tender procedures
   specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – GN No. 446 and is open to all
   Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
6. Interested Tenderers may inspect the Disposal of Returns and Wastes at TSN
   Headquarters and its Upcountry Regions in Mwanza, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Morogoro,
   Dodoma, Mbeya, and Mtwara on 11/01/2023 from 08:00-17:00
7. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect
   the Tendering Documents at the office of the Plot No 11/04 Along Nelson Mandela
   Expressway, Temeke Municipality, Dar Es Salaam, [email protected] from
   08:00-17:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by Tender Deposit in an acceptable form in the
   amounting to 25% of Tender amount in Tanzanian Shillings or any other freely convertible
   currencies.
9. All Tenders must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before
   18/01/2023, 15:00. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the
   presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Plot No
   11/04 Along Nelson Mandela Expressway, Temeke Municipality, Dar Es Salaam.
10. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, Tenders not submitted, not opened and not read out
    in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective
    of the circumstances.
