Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
   which appeared in TANePS Issue no. 446 dated 14/09/2022.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the
   operation of the Bukoba Municipal Council during the financial year 2022/2023. It is
   intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment
   under the contract for the Expression of interest for Provision of Consultancy Services
   for Kyakailabwa Bus Stand,Ibura Loryy Parking, New Primary English Medium
   school,Modern Conference,Kanoni River conservation,Rwamishenye Abbatoir and
   Children Recreation Centre) construction designs.
3. The Bukoba Municipal Council now invites eligible Firms to indicate their interest in
   providing the services which include Expression of interest for Provision of Consultancy
   Services for Kyakailabwa Bus Stand,Ibura Loryy Parking, New Primary English Medium
   school,Modern Conference,Kanoni River conservation,Rwamishenye Abbatoir and
   Children Recreation Centre) construction designs as follows:

5. Bidders are allowed to quote for One or more lots and award will be made on lot by lot
   basis.
6. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
7. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
8. Selection will be conducted through the Quality based selection procedures specified in
   the Public Procurement Regulations.
9. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
   Bukoba Municipal Council, [email protected] from 07:30-15:30 on Mondays to Fridays
   inclusive except on public holidays.
10. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
    before 23/01/2023, 10:00
11. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
    circumstances.
