Dear Mr. /Ms.

1. This Invitation for submission of Proposals follows the General Procurement Notice for
   project which appeared in www.taneps.go.tz Issue no. N/A dated 05/07/2022.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has allocated public funds for
   the cost of Provision of Consultancy services for supervision of Rural Electrification
   Densification project( IIC) and intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments
   under the Contract for which the Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued.
3. The Rural Energy Agency now invites proposals to provide the following consulting
   services: PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SUPERVISION OF
   DENSIFICATION IIC PROJECT IN IRINGA, MANYARA, MARA, MTWARA, RUKWA,
   RUVUMA AND SIMIYU REGIONS More details on the services are provided in the Terms
   of Reference.
4. This Letter of Invitation and the RFP has been issued to the following short-listed
   Consultants:
   It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other firm.
5. A firm will be selected under International Competitive Selection and procedures
   described in this RFP.
6. In addition to the Letter of Invitation, the RFP includes the following documents, which
   are available online under the Tender Documents section of TANePS:
   • Section 1 : Information to Consultants (ITC)
   • Section 2 : Proposal Data Sheet (PDS)
   • Section 3 : General Conditions of Contract (GCC),
   • Section 4 : Special Conditions of Contract (SCC),

7. Please inform us in writing or in electronic forms that provide record of the content of the
   communication, at the following address RURAL ENERGY AGENCY, PSSSF HOUSE, 7TH
   FLOOR, P.O.BOX 2153 MAKOLE ROAD, Dodoma , upon receipt:
   (a) that you have received the Letter of Invitation and the RFP; and
   (b) whether you will submit a proposal alone or in association with any other
   Consultant.
