for seven sites and supervise the construction works for seven buildings. HEET PROJECT
Expression of Interest
Date 14/02/2023

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
   which appeared in TANEPS Issue no. 018/WB-HEET-P166415/324628/2022/23/C/03
   dated 14/02/2023.
2. The The Open University of Tanzania received/has applied for/intends to apply for a
   loan from the WORLD BANK towards the cost of HEET PROJECT and it intends to apply
   part of the proceeds of this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Procure
   consultant to conduct topographic and geotechnical survey for 35 trial pits works for seven
   sites and supervise the construction works for seven buildings. HEET PROJECT.
3. The The Open University of Tanzania now invites eligible Firms to indicate their
   interest in providing the services which include THE ITEM IS SUBJECT TO AN
   IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD OF 27 MONTHS AS INDICATED IN THE TENDER
   DOCUMENT.
4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the Consultants Qualification selection procedures
   specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
   P.0.BOX 23409 DAR ES SALAAM, [email protected] from 08:00-16:00 on Mondays to
   Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
   before 01/03/2023, 11:00
9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
   circumstances.
