Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
   which appeared in TANePS Issue no. N/A dated 08/07/2022.
2. The Dar es Salaam Water Supply and Sanitation Authority received/has applied for/
   intends to apply for a credit from the World Bank towards the cost of Second Water Sector
   Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to cover eligible payments
   under the contract for Provision of consultancy services for sanitation markerting service
   for Dar-es-salaam.
3. The Dar es Salaam Water Supply and Sanitation Authority now invites eligible Firms
   to indicate their interest in providing the services which include The consulting services
   (“the services”) will include: development of sanitation marketing strategy and plan,
   identify, train and supervise the construction of containment facilities (superstructures)
   by Community Based Mason (CBM) and providing capacity building and support
   to DAWASA in its implementation of the strategy as well as facilitation of effective
   community engagement during projects construction stage. The duration of the assignment
   is estimated to be eighteen (18) months.
4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the Consultants Qualification selection procedures
   specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
   Dunga Malanga Street, [email protected] from 08:00-16:00 on Mondays to
   Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
   before 20/03/2023, 14:00
9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
   circumstances.
