Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
   which appeared in TANePS Issue no. 2022/23 dated 15/07/2022.
2. The Tanzania Geothermal Development Company Limited received/has applied for/
   intends to apply for a grant from the Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility for Eastern
   Africa (GRMF towards the cost of Natron Surface Study and it intends to apply part of
   the proceeds of this grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for Provision of
   Consultancy Services for Supervision of Detailed Surface Study at Natron Geothermal
   Prospect in Arusha region.
3. The Tanzania Geothermal Development Company Limited now invites eligible Firms
   to indicate their interest in providing the services which include Supervision of Detailed
   Surface Study for period of three (3) months.
4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures
   specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
   Mwai Kibaki Road Ursino, House No.25, [email protected] from 09:00-17:00 on
   Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
   before 09/05/2023, 10:00
9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
   circumstances.
