RFP Lump Sum Assignments

1. This Invitation for submission of Proposals follows the General Procurement Notice for
   project which appeared in TANePS Issue no. LGA/128/2022-2023/HQ/C/08 LOT 02 dated
   24/02/2023.
2. The Tanga City Council received/has applied for/intends to apply for a grant from
   the TANGA CITY COUNCIL towards the cost of PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY
   SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN (ARCHITECTURE AND STRUCTURE DESIGN) AND
   CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION FOR THE PROPOSED MLANGO WA CHUMA
   MARKET WITH THREE STORY IN TANGA CITY COUNCIL. and it intends to apply part
   of the proceeds of this grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for Provision of
   consultancy services for Tanga City Projects..
3. The Tanga City Council now invites proposals to provide the following consulting
   services: More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference. PROVISION
   OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN (ARCHITECTURE AND STRUCTURE
   DESIGN) AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION FOR THE PROPOSED MLANGO WA
   CHUMA MARKET WITH THREE STORY IN TANGA CITY COUNCIL.
4. This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been addressed to the following short-listed
   Consultants:
   •M/S qD Consult (T)LTD
   •M/S Design concern
   •M/S Galaxy Project Services ltd
   •M/S Norman and Dawbarn (T) ltd
   It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other firm.
5. A firm will be selected under National Competitive Selection and procedures described
   in this RFP.
6. The RFP includes the following documents, which are available online under the Tender
   Documents section of TANePS:
