Headquarters Building on Plot No. 56/4, Block E, Kisasa B Area, Dodoma City
Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
   which appeared in TANePS Issue no. N/A dated 06/02/2023.
2. The Tanzania Commission for Universities received/has applied for/intends to apply
   for a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of HEET and it intends to apply part of
   the proceeds of this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Provision of
   Consultancy Services for Undertaking Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)
   for Construction of the proposed TCU Headquarters Building on Plot No. 56/4, Block E,
   Kisasa B Area, Dodoma City.
3. The Tanzania Commission for Universities now invites eligible Firms to indicate their
   interest in providing the services which include Provision of Consultancy Services for
   Undertaking Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for Construction of the
   proposed TCU Headquarters Building on Plot No. 56/4, Block E, Kisasa B Area, Dodoma
   City and the execution period/duration is ninety (90) days
4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the Consultants Qualification selection procedures
   specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the DAR
   ES SALAA,, [email protected] from 01:30-09:30 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive
   except on public holidays.
8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
   before 30/05/2023, 10:00
9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
   circumstances.
