1. This Invitation for submission of Proposals follows the General Procurement Notice for
   project which appeared in TANePS Issue no. N/A dated 05/07/2022.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation
   of the Rural Energy Agency during the financial year 2022-23. It is intended that part of
   the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the
   Provision of consultancy services to promote training on biomass/biogas energy, solar
   energy and preparation of business plans for energy project..
3. The Rural Energy Agency now invites proposals to provide the following consulting
   services: More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference. Provision
   of consultancy services to promote training on biomass/biogas energy, solar energy and
   preparation of business plans for energy project
4. This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been addressed to the following short-listed
   Consultants:

   It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other firm.
5. A firm will be selected under National Competitive Selection and procedures described
   in this RFP.
