The Provision of Consultancy Services to Assist PO-RALG/DCC in Implementation of
the Resettlement Action Plan (Phase 1) for the Msimbazi Basin Development Project
Expression of Interest

  1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
    which appeared in TANePS Issue no. TANePS dated 20/07/2022.
  2. The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government received/has
    applied for/intends to apply for a credit from the International Development Association
    (IDA) towards the cost of Msimbazi Basin Development Project (MBDP) and it intends to
    apply part of the proceeds of this credit to cover eligible payments under the contract for
    The Provision of Consultancy Services to Assist PO-RALG/DCC in Implementation of the
    Resettlement Action Plan (Phase 1) for the Msimbazi Basin Development Project.
  3. The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government now invites
    eligible Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services which include but not
    limited to, the following tasks: (a) preparation of the Work Plan and Case Management
    System by developing a detailed RAP work plan/rollout program for all activities
    and a case management system so that all PAPs can easily be tracked; (b) assist the
    implementation of the RAP for Msimbazi lower basin and (c) undertake consultations,
    communication and grievance management during the RAP implementation process in
    accordance with the Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
  4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
    the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
    experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
    Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
  5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
    Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
    Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
  6. Selection will be conducted through the Consultants Qualification selection procedures
    specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
  7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
    Dodoma, [email protected] from 09:00-15:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on
    public holidays.
  8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
    before 25/05/2023, 15:00
  9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
    circumstances.
