1. The Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Ltd intends to dispose Disposal of Returns and Wastes (Quarter I). The Disposal of Returns and Wastes (Quarter I) are disposed on “as is, where is” basis and the procuring entity shall have no further liability after sale.

2. The Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Ltd now invites sealed Tenders for the purchase of Disposal of Returns and Wastes (Quarter I) as follows:

  • Bidders are allowed to quote for One or more lots and award will be made on lot by lot basis.
  • Tendering will be conducted through the National Disposal by Tender procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – GN No. 446 and is open to all Tenders as defined in the Regulations.
  • Interested Tenders may inspect the Disposal of Returns and Wastes (Quarter I) at At Tanzania Standard (Newspapers) Ltd Head Quarter located at Mandera express way opposite TAZARA offices on 28/01/2022 from 10:00-16:00
  • Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Dar es Salaam, [email protected] from 08:00-16:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
  • All Tenders must be accompanied by Tender Deposit in an acceptable form in the amounting to 25% of Tender amount in Tanzanian Shillings or any other freely convertible currencies.
  • All Tenders must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before 09/02/2022, 15:00. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Plot No 11/04 Along Nelson Mandela Expressway.
  • Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, Tenders not submitted, not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
