CONSTRUCTION OF GRAVITY PIPED SCHEME AT ITALE VILLAGE AND VILLAGE AND REHABILITATION OF GRAVITY PIPED SCHEME AT CHABU VILLAGE
INVITATION FOR TENDERS (IFT)
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the lleje District Council during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Construction of gravity piped scheme (Pipe network, water tank, water points and chambers) for ltale and Rehabilitation of gravity piped scheme (Pipe network, water tank, water points, chambers) for Chabu villages at lleje District Council.
The lleje District Council now invites sealed Tenders from eligible qualified Civil contractors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Class Four (4) and above to carry out the Construction of Gravity Piped Scheme at Itale village and rehabilitation of Gravity Piped Scheme at Chabu village as per scope of works for each lot as the proposed tenders as described in the table below;

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specihed in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No. 446 with its Amendments of 2016 Government Notice No. 121 published on April 22nd 2016 and it is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of Procurement Management Unit PMU, P. O. Box 02, lleje District Council, Songwe Region, from 8:003m to 1 5:30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 2 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 150,000/=. Eligible Tenderers should have Valid Business License, Registered with CRB, Power of Attorney and Registered Power of Attorney shall be submitted with successfull contract prior signing of contract, Current Financial statements, EFD Machine for the purpose of payments, attachment of experience in Civil works executed by company, attachment of owned/hired company’s plants, CV’s of company’s personnel’s , all copies should be certified.
All Tenderers must be accompanied by a Bid Securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents Tender documents will be issued to contractors after site visit at their own costs.
All Tenders in one Original plus Two Copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address: Secretary of the Tender Board (PMU office), lleje District Council PO BOX 2 lleje, Songwe at or before July 02, 2019, 10:00 am. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter at 10:00 am in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the office of Secretary of the Tender Board, lleje District Council PO BOX 2 lleje, Songwe (PMU Office).
Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
