BID No. 02/NCA-T/WASH/TCP II & III/2019 FOR CONSTRUCTIONS OF TOWER AND INSTALLATION OF THIRTEEN SOLAR POWERED WATER SYSTEM WITHIN MKALAMA, MABULU AND HANANG DISTRICT – APRIL TO JUNE 2019

1. Norwegian Church Aid is a Norwegian non- Government and development organization working to promote Social Justice, Human Rights and Economic Justice for poor Communities. NCA has its foundation based in congregation of church is in Norway, whose effort are dedicated towards eradicating poverty, by its cause and social deprivation in Tanzania, NCA works with poor communities and local partners in 37 districts
2. NCA Tanzania implementing a five years WAS-TCP from 2015- 2019 in the district of Kishapu- Shinyanga, Mkalama- Singida, Mbulu and Hanang- Manyara. The program among other aims at improving the provision of clean and safe water to 50,000 people who are current have no access to at least basic water supply services
3. NCA – WASH TCP programme in Tanzania with our partners four Corners Cultural Programme invites a sealed bids for eligible and qualified registered contractors for constructions of tower and installation of thirteen solar power water system within Makalama, Mbulu and Hanang Districts – April to June 2019
4. Biding will be conducted though the sealed tendering procedure and is open to eligible registered and will be conducted as per NCA Procurement policy
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtan information and inspect the bidding document at the office of Norwegian Chruch Aid, Mwai Kibaki Road, C/O tcrs, 3RD Floor, Plot No. 436 Mikocheni, P.O. BOX 3955, Dar es Salaam, Tanzani, [email protected], Tel:+ 255 22 200 252 from 08:30 am to 16:30 pm on Monday to Friday inclusive except on Public holidays
6. Qualification requirement include legal status i.e CRB legislation contractor in Construction works, should have qualified and experienced key personnel for administration and execution of the contract, proposed sub-contractors and firms involved (if any) and sound financial status bidders
7. A complete set of bidding document in English in hard copy and additional sets may be purchased by any interested on address given under 5 above and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Tshs 1000,000.000 (Tanzanian Shillings on Hundred Thousand Only) payable to Standard Chartered Bank Branch Shoppers Plaza, Account Name Norwegian Church Aid Account No. 0102060383200 Swift Code SCBLTZTX
8. All bids in one original plus one copy, Properly filled and enclosed in plain envelope, the outer cover shall be clearly marked “Bid for constructions of tower and installation of thirteen solar powered water system within MAKALAMA, MBULU and AHANANGI DISTRICT – APRIL TO JUNE 2019, Bid No. 02/NCA-T/WASH/TCP/II &III/2019”shall be submitted at or before Monday 25th March 2019 at 14:00 pm promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend at the Norwegian Church Aid Country Office- Conference Room
9. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid securing declaration from in the format provided in the bidding document
10. It should be noted that late bid, portion of bids, electronic bids note received bid not opened and note read out in public at the bid opened ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
11. NCA is not bound/ obligated to accept the lowest/ Highest bid or of any bids
12. All bids must attach detailed CV for technical team equipment’s you have, list of all activities you have carried out for the past five years to date and legal certificates including bank statements
