The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the Word Bank towards the cost of the Resilient Natural Resources Management for Tourism and Growth Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the services”) are expected to cover consultancy services for concept design and financial viability {business plan) for the southern circuit tourism destination market center at king. The duration of the assignment is expected to be two Months.
The Tanzania national Parks TANAPA: now invites eligible consulting firms (consultants) to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have required qualification and relevant experience to perform the services. The shortlisting criteria are: (i) Experience in similar assignment (ii) Experience in a similar Conditions: and (iii) Availability of Appropriate Skills (Technical and managerial) among permanent staff of the firm.
The attention of interested consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants Under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, dated January 2011, revised July 2014. (“Consultant Guidelines”) setting forth the World bank’s policy on conflicts of interest.
Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub consultancy to enhance their qualifications,
