INVITATION OF TENDERFOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION OF KAKONKO ULTRA MODERN BUS STAND TO BE BUILT AT KAKONKO IN KIGOMA REGION

1. The Kakonko District Council intends to construct the Kakonko Bus Stand to be built at Kakonko in Kigoma Region during Financial Year 2018/2019.Kakonko District Council now invites sealed tenders from eligible firms registered with Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board- AQRB to indicate their interest in providing Service for Supervision of Kakonko Ultra-Modern Bus Stand.
2. Interested Consultancy Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the service by submitting consultant’s profile description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions availability of appropriate skills among staff etc and their qualifications.
3. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedure set out in the Public Procurement Act No 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2013- Government Notice No 446 and their amendments of 2016.
4. Selection will be conducted through Quality and Cost based selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Consultants may obtain further information from the office of      of the Secretary of the Tender Board P.o box 3 Kakonko from 7:30 am to 3:30 pmon Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Request for Proposal (RFP)  in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Consultancy on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania shilling One hundred thousand shillings (100,000.00) Payment should either be payable to Kakonko District Treasurer’s office.
7. All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address above at or before 10.30amon Monday, 22^th April 2019, Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at Conference Hall located at District Council Headquarters.

8. Late Expression of interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
