For Supply of Water Treatment Chemicals Invitation for Bids
1.This invitation for Bid follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the PPRA Tender Portal, DAWASA websites, Daily News on 30‘“May 2019.
2. Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority has set aside funds for operation during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for supply of water treatment chemicals.
3. The Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible Suppliers of the following goods:

4. Bidders may bid for a single lot or combination of all lots, but in any case, a bidder must quote full quantities in each lot. The bidder who is not quoting full quantities in each lot will be considered as non-responsive.
5. Tendering will be conducted through the International competitive procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
6. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga / Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital P.O BOX 1573 Dar es Salaam from 0800 to 1 600 hrs. on Monday to Friday except on public holidays.
7. A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be obtained by interested and eligible Bidder from the office of the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board upon payment of non-refundable fee of Tshs 300,000.00 from 0800 to 1600 hrs local time on Monday to Friday except on public holidays. 1 Payment should be made to CRDB BANK A/C NO. 0111021921900, SWIFT code CORUTZ T2 the document will be issued upon payment or by request through courier on bidder’s account, E payment slip should be submitted and collect bid document to the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga / Malanga street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital, Dar es Salaam.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form as indicated in the bid document for each lot.
9. All bids in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be r delivered to the address below clearly marked Supply of water treatment chemicals indicating Lot number/numbers and Bid Number AE/033/2019-2020/G/04 at DAWASA building Dunga/Malanga lg Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital room No. 21, at or before 11:00 hrs on Wednesday 16th October 2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders l or Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at the DAWASA Board Room, DAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital, Dar es Salaam
10. Late Bid, Portion of Bid, Electronic Bid, Bid not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
