Periodic Maintenance, Routine/Recurrent Maintenance, Bridges Major Repair 8: Preventive Maintenance Works along Trunk and Regional roads in Morogoro Region

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN No.1) for these Tenders which appeared on ”PPRA” and TANROADS Websites’ on 28″ May, 2019.

The Government of The United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operations of the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) Morogoro Region during the financial year FY 2019/20. (t is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the Contracts for: Periodic Maintenance, Routine/Recurrent Maintenance, Bridges Major Repair 8: Preventive Maintenance Works along Trunk and Regional Roads In Morogoro Region.

The TANROADS Regional Manager. Morogoro Region, on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS, now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National civil Engineering Contractors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CR8) In Classes specified Tn a Table given below, for carrying out the various works mentioned in paragraph two (2) above.

The approximate quantities for major work items. intended Contract period and purchase price of Tender Documents are as shown in the table given below

Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering procedures specified In the Public Procurement Act no. 7 of 2011 (Goods, Works. Non-Consultant Services and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations of December , 2013 Government Notice No. 466 and its amendments of 2016, is open to National Contractors only.

Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the Office of the Secretary to the Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board, Morogoro Region, P.O Box 91 Morogoro Simba Street. from 08:00 to 16:30 hours. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on public holidays.

A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as speciefied In table given above. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’ s ant, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TANROADS Regional Manager, Morogoro Region.

All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.

All Tenders in one original plus two copies of the original properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address given below at or before 10:00 am on

All Tenderers shall assemble at the TANROADS Regional Managers office Morogoro at 08:30 am on the date of the visit. except for Tends: No. AE/001/2019-20/MOR /W/4,5,6,7,8,10,16,17,18,21,22, 23.and 67, whereby Tenderers shall assemble at the TANROADS Regional Manager’s Office Mend Yard in Maker: Town) at 09:00 am. The Pre-Tender meeting will take place immediately after the site visits. Note that, Tenderers shall have to arrange for their own transport for the site visits.

Late Tenders: portion Of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremonies shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
