INVITATION OF BIDS
Tender No. PA/082/2016-17/HQ/W/20.
The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for the Construction Projects during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Proposed Design and Construction of Staff Club on Block’M’ Plot No. 2672 Forest Area in Mbeya City.
The Bank of Tanzania now invites sealed bids from eligible and Registered Building contractors in Class Four and above for the Proposed Design and Construction of Staff Club on Block *M’ Plot No. 2672 Forest Area in Mbeya City.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act Na 07 of 2011 and its amendments of 2016 and Regulations of 2013 as amended in 2016 and are open to all eligible Building Contractors.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Bank of Tanzania, 2 Mirambo Street, 11884 Dar es Salaam, (Physical office location) from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS100, 000. Payment should either be by Electronic Payment Transfer (Account Name: Tender Application Fee, Account Number: 9944712601) or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Bank of Tanzania.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the bidding documents. This shall be enclosed with the Technical Submission.
All bids in one original plus two copies, properly filled in. and enclosed in plain separate inner Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal envelopes properly marked ‘original ‘and ‘copies’ as appropriate sealed in one plain outer envelope, dearly marked ‘Tender No. PA/082/2016-17/HQ/W/20 for the Proposed Design and Construction of Staff (Dub on Block’M’ Plot No. 2672 Forest Area in Mbeya City, Tanzania’ must be delivered to the following address: Secretary of the Tender Board, Bank of Tanzania, 2 Mirambo Street 11884, P.O. Box 2939 Dar es Salaam on or before 11:00 am Local Time on Tuesday 30th July, 2019.
Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at the Bank of Tanzania, Prospective Banking Museum, 2 Mirambo 11884 Dar es Salaam
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received. Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
