PROPOSED REHABILITATION OF BANK OF TANZANIA STAFF CLUB AT PLOT NO. 116 BLOCK “LL” AT PASIANSI IN MWANZA CITY
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in PPRA TANeps in September, 2018.
2. The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for its operations during the financial year 2018-2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Proposed Rehabilitation of Bank of Tanzania Staff Club at Plot No. 116 Block “LL” at Pasiansi In Mwanza City.
3. The Bank of Tanzania now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Building Contractors registered under Class Five (5) and above by the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) of Tanzania.
4. Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 (as amended in 2016) – Government Notice No.446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, BOT Tender Board, Head Office, 2nd Floor, South Tower at 2 Mirambo Street, from 8.30 am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30 pm on Monday to Friday except on Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays.
6. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000. Payment should either be by Electronic Payment Transfer (Account Name: Tender Application Fee, Account Number: 9944712601 or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Bank of Tanzania.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents.
8. All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked “Tender No. PA/082/2018-2019/HQ/W/301 for the Proposed Rehabilitation of Bank of Tanzania Staff Club at Plot No. 116 Block “LL” at Pasiansi In Mwanza City” must be delivered to the address in paragraph 5 above at or before 11.00 hours, Friday 14th June, 2019.
9. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the opening ceremony at the Bank of Tanzania, Prospective Currency Museum Hall, Ground Floor, South Tower, 2 Mirambo Street.
10. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received. Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
