Invitation for Tenders

1. The Zanzibar Housing Corporation has set aside finds for the operation of the Proposed Renovation of ZHC (Mnadani) Building at Darajani – Zanzibar during the Financial year of 20202021. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the find will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for which this invitation for tender is issued.
2.) Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Building procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No.11, 2016.
3. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Tender Board, Zanzibar Housing Corporation, P.O. Box 795, Vuga Street Zanzibar from 9:00am — 02:30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
4. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 3 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS. 156,000. Payment must be done to PBZ Account number 0464617000, Account name Shirika la Nyamba Mapato.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security from reputable commercial bank, in an acceptable form in the amount of TZS. 5,000,000 or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers.
6. All sealed tenders in One original plus Two copies. properly filled in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below at or before Thursday, 18th February 2021, 10:00am. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderer’s representatives who chose to attend in the opening at the ZHC bead office. Vuga Street- Zanzibar,
7. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
