PROVISION OF AIR TRAVEL SERVICES AND TICKETING TENDER
NO. IE/010/HQ/2019/2020/NCS/06
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in The Daily News Issue No. 0856-3812 dated Wednesday 31st July, 2019.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania Commission for AIDS during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Provision of Air Travel Services and Ticketing
The Tanzania Commission for AIDS now invites sealed Tenders from eligible providers of Air Travel and Ticketing Services
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as def1ned in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of l the Head, PMU, Tanzania Commission for AIDS, TACAIDS Building, Luthuli/ Sokoine Street, 3rd Floor, Procurement Management Unit office, Room No. 323/324 from 7.30 am to 3.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings Fifty Thousand (TZS 50,000). Payment should be by Cash Payments through the Government Payments Gateway system, payable to The Executive Director Chairman after obtaining the Control Number from The Accounts Office.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address: Secretary to the Tender Board, Tanzania Commission for AIDS, TACAIDS Building, Luthuli/Sokoine Street, 3rd Floor, Procurement Management Unit office, Room No. 323/324 at or before 12.00 Noon on Wednesday 27th September 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TACAIDS Building, Luthuli/Sokoine Street, TACAIDS Board Room 4th Floor
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
