PROVISION OF CATERING SERVICES MADIMBA GPP, SONGOSONGO GPP AND GAS PIPELINE (KINYEREZI GAS RECEIVING STATION AND SOMANGAFUNGU GAS JUNCTION STATION)

INVITATION FOR TENDERS

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily News Issue no. 12,304 dated 12‘h December, 2018.

The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited during the financial year 2018/19. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment for Provision of Catering Services Madimba GPP, Songosongo GPP and Gas Pipeline(Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station and Somangafungu Gas Junction Station)

GASCO now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Service Providers for Provision of Catering Services Madimba GPP, Songosongo GPP and Gas Pipeline

Tenderers may bid for a single lot or both lots, but in each case tenderers shall quote for all items and quantities specified in each lot. Bidders not quoting for all items and quantities. in a lot will be considered non-responsive. Bidders can bid for all lots but will be awarded only one (1) Lot.

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.

Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Room number 04 on the 1″ floor from 9:00 and 15:00 hours from on to Friday inclusive except on Public Holidays.

A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000.00 (Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). Payment should be made through NMB Bank, Account Name: Gas Company (T) Limited, Account N umber: 22310029011 payable to Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited.

All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.

A compulsory(mandatory) Site visiting shall be conducted as per time table indicated here under:

Cost of visiting the site shall be at the tenderers own expense. Non-attendance to the site visit shall be reason for disqualification .

All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “PROVISION OF CATERING SERVICES MADIMBA GPP, SONGOSONGO GPP AND GAS PIPELINE, NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE FRIDAY 3thI AUGUST, 2019 11:00HRS” must be delivered to the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibagn Street, Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Room number 04 on the 1“ floor at or before Friday 30‘h August 2019, 11:00hours. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Kinyerezi Board Room at 1ST floor.

Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received. and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
