PROVISION OF FUEL MARKING SERVICES

1. This invitation for tender follows the general procurement notice for this project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo issued No. 1821-8555-5790 Dated 23 July 2019
2. Zanzibar Utilities Regulatory Authority has a set aside fund for its operation during the financial year 2019/2020. Its intend that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for provision of fuel marking services
3. The ZURA now invites sealed tender from eligible providers of fuel marking services
4. Tendering will be conducted though the International Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the public procurement and disposal of public assets Act 2016
5. Interested eligible tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Zanzibar Utilities Regulatory Authority P.O. Box 2238 second floor roads fund buildings, room No. 2018 Maisara Zanzibar from 8:30 to 16:00 hours Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays
6. Tenders must be accompanied by tender security 2% of the quote price in banker’s cheque as specified in tender data sheet
7. All tenders in one original plus 3 copies properly filled and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address given under paragraph 5 above at or before 10:00 am on 12th March 2020. The outer cover/envelopes of the tenders shall be clearly marked TENDER FOR PROVISION OF FUEL MARKING SERVICES
8. A complete of set of tender document in English and additional set may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 500,00/=. Payment should be banker’s by cheque or cash deposit to the following account detail of Zanzibar Utilities Regulatory Authority

9. Tenders will be open promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the ZURA Conference Room Fund Building Zanzibar
10. Late tenders portion of tenders, electronic tenders tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
