PROVISION OF GROUND HANDLING SERVICES FOR CLASS TWO AND THREE TAA MANAGED AIRPORTS
Invitation for Tenders
Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) intends to have Service Providers that will be able to provide Ground Handling Services for Class Ewe and Three TAA Managed Airports. It is expected that TAA will generate revenue under the contracts and hence improve service delivery at TAA.
The Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National service providers for Provision of Ground Handling Services for Class Two and Three TAA Managed Regional Airports.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public- Procurement (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Tanzania Airports Authority, Terminal 1, R0. Box 18000 Dar es Salaam from 07.30 to 15.30 hrs Local time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs.100,000/= (Tanzanian Shillings: One Hundred Thousand only). Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Cashier Office, Tanzania Airports Authority, Terminal 1.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Document.
All Tenders in one (1) original plus two (2) copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address The Secretary, Tanzania Airports Authority Tender Board, TAA Head Office, Terminal One, PO. Box 18000 Dar 1 es salaam at or before Tuesday, 25‘h June, 2019 which is the deadline for submission of tenders. The inner and outer covers/ J envelopes shall also bear the address of The Secretary, TAA Tender Board and be clearly marked “TENDER No. AE-027/20182019/HQ/N/01 PROVISION OF GROUND HANDLING SERVICES FOR CLASS TWO AND THREE TAA MANAGED AIRPORTS DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 11:00 PM on Tuesday 25th June, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the PMU Conference room-TAA HQs -Terminal one.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and [not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
