for Provision of Security Services at Residential Premises at Mbeya Branch
Invitation for Tenders
1.This invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Service which appeared in July in TANePS.
2. The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for its operations during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Provision of Security Services at Residential Premises at Mbeya Branch.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Delegated Tender Board Secretary, 1st floor, Room No. 106, Bank of Tanzania, Mahakama Avenue, P. O. Box 1203 Mbeya,. Tel: 025-2502844 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
4. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100, 000. Payment should either be by Cash, Electronic Payment Transfer to Intermediary Account Number: 9924719705 or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Branch Director.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration In the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
6. A Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly Filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked Tender for Provision of Security Services at Residential Premises at Mbeya Branch, Tender number PA/082/2019-20/MBY/NC/190” must be delivered to the address Delegated Tender Board Secretary, Room No. 106, 1st Floor, Bank of Tanzania, Mahakama Avenue, Mbeya at or before 11:00 hours, 4th December, 2019.
7. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Bank of Tanzania Mbeya, Boardroom, Room No. 205, 2nd floor, Mahakama Avenue.
8. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
