INVITATION FOR BIDS

TENDER No 1 OF 2021

PROVISION OF VARIOUS SERVICES TO A COMMERCIAL BUILDING IN A CITY OF DAR ES SALAAM

1. Knighting Frank on behalf of our client has set aside funds from its budget for the provision of various services for the year 2021. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under various contracts for property maintenance.

2. Knight Frank now invites sealed bids from competent, reputable and interested contractors to tender/ bid for provision of various services as listed herein below:

-Provision of hair conditioning services.

-Provision of cleaning, hygiene and Sanitary Services.

-Provision of Generator Maintenance

-Provision of Fumigation Services.

-Provision of Lifts & Escalator Services.

-Provision of Electrical Maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm System.

-Provision of services and maintenance of Fire Fliting Equipment.

-Provision of Plumbing Services.

-Provision of control room Operations.

3. Bidders may quote for one or more lots but in each case, bidders must quote for all items and quantities specified in each lot, where applicable. Partial bids will not be accepted

4. Each Tenderer is required to provide the following information:

• Firm’s Track record.
• Past experience
• CVs of key staff.
• For provision of Air Condition Services, Fire Detection and Firefighting Equipment, cleanliness and Fumigation bidder must be registered with the Government Procurement Services Agency (GPSA).
• For provision of electrical services, bidder must be registered with Engineer Registration Board (ERB) and Energy & Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA)
• Banker of the Tenderer
• Insurance cover for the tender being applied.

5. Bids must be submitted in duplicate (original and copy) And be properly filled in and enclosed in separate manner plain envelops marked with the address of the bidder. On the outside, the envelops shall be clearly marked “TENDER No 1 OF 2021 FOR PROVISION OF VARIOUS SERVICES AT GOLDEN JUBILEE TOWERS NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 1400 HOURS ON 22^ND MARCH 2021.
6. Successful bidder will be required to sign a year contract with Public Services Social Security Fund (PSSSF)

7. The deadline for the submission of bids is 1400Hrs local time 22^nd March 2021. Bids will be opened promporty thereafter in the presence of Bidders or representative who wish to attend in the opening at the conference room.
8. A complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidder upon the payments of non-refundable fee of Tshs50,000.00 (Tanzania shillings Two Hundred Thousands only). The method of payment will be either cash or Banker’s Cheque in the name of Knight Frank (Tanzania) Limited
9. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information at the office of knight Frank (T) Limited, 3rd floor, International House P.O.Box 9333, Garden Avenue/ Shabaan Robert street, Dar Es Salaam from 08:00-16:00 Hours local time from Monday to Friday excluding holidays
10. Note that Knighting Frank is not obliged to accept the lowest or any tender.
